About Dubai Expo 2020
The expo was scheduled to be held from October 20, 2020, till April 10, 2021. However, with the ongoing pandemic situation, the expo was postponed and rescheduled to the current dates. The Dubai Expo has a lot of strategic values attached to it. In the six long months of exhibitions, the landscapes and the blueprint of the future will be on display.
The event is being hosted in the extravagant Emirati City in Dubai. As stressed earlier, the expo is the first of many which is getting held in the United Arab Emirates. The city was named as the host for the event in the year 2013 by the Bureau International des Expositions general assembly, which was held in Paris. The event is expected to attract a total of 25 million visitors in the period of six months.

The theme for the World Expo in Dubai is “Connecting Minds and Creating the Future”. The theme is aligned with the global cause of tackling the greatest challenges of humanity through connectivity and interactiveness. The theme revolves around the sub-themes for the expo, which are – Sustainability, Mobility, and Opportunity.

The sustainability district will bring forward the contributions of the member nations to bring innovative ideas in saving the environment.
Mobility
The Dubai World Expo is fostering the cause of making connections to help people understand different cultures. The Mobility district will help in bringing different perspectives to the table and exchange a variety of ideas and knowledge. This district will work on the cause of bridging the divide between the digital and the real world.
Opportunity
The Opportunity district is striving to unlock the eight billion opportunities considering every single individual can help in bringing value. India in Dubai Expo
The Indian pavilion is in the state of the Art 4 floored pavilion which holds promising endeavors in the expo with its fast-growing US $2.5 trillion economy. The Indian pavilion is celebrating the 75 years of the country’s independence. The Indian pavilion is located in the Opportunity district and is centered around the theme of ‘Openness, Opportunity, and Growth’. The theme is split further into 11 primary themes like climate, inclusivity, urban development, food agriculture, and health and wellness.
